In this interesting video, How to flash Android 10 Based Custom Roms With Custom Vendor for Realme X2, we started with a little journey down the memory lane how flashing Custom Roms on Realme X2 began, and there have been plenty changes and developments since then and the latest one, CUSTOM VENDOR!
Custom Vendor is very important for all who like to try different Roms because it saves you from the stress of Realme’s Force Encryption on data partition once you set up your phone.
Stock Vendor and Encryption problem include:
Formatting data (which wipes everything in the phone internal storage)
every time you flash a new Rom.
Inputting lock screen password for every time you boot into recovery
Inability to restore backed up data partition due to data encryption.
And sometimes, if you change recovery you may not be able to decrypt data with the same lock screen password you were using before…
And Before we proceed, download the TWRP recovery below and Use it to make a full backup and keep the backup in a safe place outside of your phone.
