This video explains the concept of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), in simple terms with practical examples.
At first, the term DevOps is explained along with how the role DevOps came into place with the Wall of Confusion. Wall of Confusion in DevOps, is the responsibility gap that we see between developers and operations engineers, where Developers worry about feature delivery and Operations Engineers worry about stability.
Next, we discuss how SRE implements DevOps in a Software Engineering organization. We talk about how SRE has different flavours in different organizations, because of the way they implement their practices.
This video also talks about a few examples of how SRE can engineer DevOps practices, to introduce the SRE ecosystem into the organization.
